This is a hidden gem in UC! The steak was SO savory and perfectly cooked. We wanted everything on the menu so I had the steak and eggs and my daughter had the avocado toast and we shared the waffles and each others dishes. :) It was too much so I took some to go. The coffee latte (they had oat and almond milk as dairy alternatives) is was PERFECT. The worst thing for me is when coffee is watered down but this one was strong. Definitely a good coffee to start it off right!! The bathroom was tiny but very clean. Extra points there. The service was too notch. Sosa was the right amount of attentive and cleared the dishes and had a calm attitude. I never go to UC as I despise how condensed it is but for this place, I would go back.

The food was amazing! If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by. This hidden gem has super friendly staff and is definitely worth a visit. This is review #2 with added pictures since Google only allows me to write one review per business.. If you ever have the privilege of dining at this restaurant, don’t forget to say hi to Pablo, the owner—he’s truly an amazing human being: kind, personable, and passionate about what he does. We were just there yesterday and tried the crab cake from the specials menu—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I have no idea what ingredients he uses, but I hope he never changes the recipe! My husband ordered the steak and eggs and said he was transported to another place. 😆 I’m almost hesitant to write this because it’s such a hidden gem, but they deserve the recognition. Pablo and his team are absolutely rocking it in the kitchen!

We visited this restaurant on the way back to Virginia from New york. This restaurant serves delicious breakfast and brunch dishes. They highlight the fresh, high-quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, generous portions and also great service . I just loved their cozy atmosphere. We tried Grilled chicken Sandwich and Smoker Salmon Toast with latte and coffee, potato hash with fried egg and omelette. Food is 9 out of 10.

Vale's Kafe is, without question, the best brunch in North Jersey!! The food here isn't just great—it's always delicious. Every visit delivers a flawless 5-star experience, with consistently fresh, high-quality ingredients crafted into memorable dishes. The magic truly comes from Pablo and his wife. You can feel their care in everything they do—from how they greet you at the door, to the thoughtful menu they create. They’ve built a place that feels like a genuine extension of their own kitchen, dedicated to serving the community with heart and remarkable integrity. A truly exceptional find!

We were looking for a healthier breakfast option and tried Vale’s omelette and the egg white frittata. Both were delicious and surprisingly satisfying (we usually opt for heavier options). The cappuccino was perfectly balanced smooth and not too strong. The cafe itself is kind of small, but still a great atmosphere with warm and inviting staff.

Vale’s Kafe & Kitchen has always been my favorite brunch spot since I moved to NJ 3-4 years ago (don’t sleep on the steak and eggs!). So when I heard they were doing a pop-up for dinner I had to go. The dinner was amazing and exceeded my expectations- we licked every plate clean. The owners truly love what they are doing and you can tell by how delicious their food is. A local gem!

Hello my Foodies! I normally don't give 5 stars all around. But this place gets 5 stars all around. First time visiting this corner coffee/Cafe. It was very simple decor but felt welcoming. The owner Pablo was super kind and he talked with us about the restaurant and the food and how they make it. His love of food and his restaurant was very apparent in his service and kindness to his guests. The food we had was a chorizo omelet and the waffles. I normally don't care for waffles but dang! This was good! Even the coffee was such a lovely presentation and the taste was good. The food menu is small but there is something for everyone to try. They have a different menu for brunch and dinner and from the weekend to the weekday. If you are in North Bergen please stop by to visit. Again it is a small place and you will need to find street parking but its worth it. We will be back to try the other items and its BYOB too..

Wow, Vale's did not disappoint!! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was phenomenal. The beet salad is so different and refreshing! The steak and eggs is huge and tasty. Churro waffles, what else is there to say. Great stop if you are in the area, it's a little small inside but don't let that stop you!

I had a wonderful breakfast here and will definitely be back! Everything tasted fresh and delicious, with high-quality ingredients. I ordered the German apple pancakes from the specials menu, the granola yogurt with fresh fruit, an iced matcha, and the cucumber mint lemonade, every single item was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and the wait time was very reasonable. The café has a great vibe with nice music, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy breakfast. There are plenty of great drink options to pair with your meal, and the pricing is fair at around $20 per person. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, fresh food, and a welcoming atmosphere!
